CHESS SUMMER IN THE HEART OF EUROPE
14. – 31. 7. 2016 - 27th International Chess and Games Festival CZECH OPEN (Pardubice)
http://www.czechopen.net/ . GMs Laznicka (CZE), 2668 Movsesian (ARM) 2660, Ganguly (IND) 2654, Kravtsiv (UKR) 2641, Kononenko (UKR) 2621 and Nabaty (ISR) 2619 take part in the GM oen. David Navara 2735, the Czech player number 1 takes part in open championships of the Czech Republic in rapid and Fischerandom chess. There will be almost 30 chess tournaments for experienced players and beginners.

5. - 13. 9. 2016 - 15th SUNNY BEACH OPEN (Sunny Beach, Bulgaria)
6 FIDE Opens: ELO >= 2300 with GM and IM norms, ELO 2000 – 2299, ELO < 2000, women, senior and children tournaments (U12)

For the first time in history the World Senior Championship will be held in the Czech Republic. The championship will be played in categories men and women over 50 and 65 years of age and it will take place on 18. 11. - 1. 12. 2016 in the town of Marianske Lazne. Players can participate in this tournament without reference to their rating. Regulations are available on www.wscc2016.net .
